THIS IS THE ANNUAL FAMILY TRIP TO BODEGA BAY. WE WALK THE BEACH, WE FLY KITES, WE CRASH KITES, WE VISIT OUR FAVORITE TAFFY SHOP (CANDY AND KITES)
AND WE FREEZE! THIS TRIP CORYNN, DILLON'S GIRLFRIEND CAME WITH US. THERE WERE 5 SITES OF THE WHOLE GANG, PLUS A FRIEND FROM WORK. THIS IS BELLA'S FIRST CAMPING TRIP. SHE ACTUALLY GOT THE HANG OF IT....ALTHOUGH SHE WAS CONFUSED ABOUT WHAT THE TABLE IS ACTUALLY FOR INSIDE THE TRAILER. THE KIDS WENT FOR A WALK WITH GRANDMA ONE MORNING AND FOUND A BABY GREAT WHITE SHARK TRYING TO BEACH ITSELF IN THE SURF...CORYNN WADED IN AND SENT IT BACK OUT TO SEA. THE WIND WAS CRAZY THIS WEEK. THE MORNINGS WERE OK AND THE AFTERNOONS WERE LIKE A HURRICANE ( TO A CALIFORNIAN)
OUR LAST DAY WAS SUPER WINDY AND WE WERE FLYING ALL THE KITES (4). WE BROKE ALL BUT ONE! THE GIANT KITE THAT IS HARD TO FLY ACTUALLY GOT OFF THE GROUND. IT FIRST TOOK SHELBY FOR A LITTLE DRAG BEFORE IT BROKE THE KITE LINE BECAUSE THE WIND WAS TOO STRONG....THE KITE BLEW AND LANDED IN THE OCEAN...DILLON HAD TO DROP HIS JEANS AND WADE INTO THE WATER IN HIS UNDIES TO RETRIEVE THE KITE. AFTER IT DRIED A BIT, BILL PUT NEW LINE ON IT AND HE PUT IT BACK UP. IT WAS TRYING TO PULL HIM OFF HIS FEET, SO HE SAT DOWN IN THE SAND. THE KITE PROCEEDED TO DRAG HIM ABOUT 10 FEET BEFORE IT CRASHED AND SPLIT THE CENTER POLE. BILL SAID IT WAS FUN!!
WE COOKED SMORES IN THE TRAILER BECAUSE THE NIGHTS WERE TOO COLDY!
BELLA MET MANY DOGS ON THE BEACH THAT SHE HAD FUN PLAYING WITH!
HOW COME DOGS POOP SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH WHEN THEY WALK ON THE BEACH ANYWAY?? IT IS A DRAG TO CARRY POOPBAGS BACK TO THE TRASH.

Ok, a couple of things here:
A) You get some awesome pictures. I mean, a baby great white shark?? Seriously? 100% Awesome. That good deed should ensure each and every one of you immunity from all future shark attacks.
B) Bella is a beautiful dog, I believe this is the first time I've seen her.
C) Kenzie and I love flying kites! We have a small local kite shop believe it our not. We bought a 7 foot kite and some 80 pound test string to fly it with. The string is 1000' long! It takes about 30 minutes to reel it in once it's up. We want to fly kites with you sometime!
Oh and by the way, Yes. I did read it drug (is that the right word?) Uncle Bill down the beach, but I thought you were kidding! Must be a HUGE kite if it can drag people around. I wonder if Brooklyn held onto the kite if it would pull her into the sky? Haha, I don't think we want to find out.
